Meet Some of Our Staff

Ryan Hathaway, President: (email: hathaway@gtsdirect.com)
Mr. Hathaway has over 12 years of telecom industry experience. He is a graduate of Michigan State University as well as University of Detroit School of Law. Ryan has been an attorney for six years now. Mr. Hathaway has worked with over 600 clients on the review of their telecommunications costs.

Mark Stackpoole, Chief Executive Officer: (email: stackpoole@gtsdirect.com)
Mr. Stackpoole has over 10 years experience with GTS as one of the co-founders and original employees of the company. The company has experienced double digit year on year revenue growth for 5 years running now while carrying zero debt, a proud accomplishment for a company in the recent business market/environment. Mark has helped grow the client base to over 1000 current GTS clients…and also changes light bulbs and takes out the trash. Mark was a MSU graduate in 1999.

Robert Chernock, Channel Sales Manager: (email: Chernock@gtsdirect.com)
Mr. Chernock was added to the team in 2010 with a focus on enhancing and growing the indirect sales channel. Prior to Global Telecom Solutions, Bob has worked in similar a similar capacity for such firms as: ANX, First Communications, XO Communications, and Cavalier Telephone.

Carol Shuttleworth, Customer Service Manager: (email: carol@gtsdirect.com)
Mrs. Shuttleworth joined the staff in 2009 with a focus on pre/post installation support as well as ongoing customer service concerns. With over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, Carol has experience from both the carrier, PBX vendor, and customer perspective. Carol has previously worked for Fortune 500 firms assisting in telecom project management, as well as hardware vendors in similar capacities.

Kat Sauvey is responsible for the process and management of all ATT products and services. Ms. Sauvey has over a decade of telecommunication experience and is trained and certified on all operating systems and procedures accessible to the ATT Alliance Channel.
